Website for Riai Aikido Dojo
Riai Aikido Dojo in Gothenburg, was trapped in a horrible content management system, which caused them serious problems. The fastest way out of the situation was to switch to a XHTML-based static site.
I also saw to that their old pages got correct 301 redirects to the new corresponding pages, so that they wouldn't lose any link power from incoming links that they've obtained over the years. The new URL:s was given a search enginge (and visitor) friendly readable form.
Since these are friends of mine, I also threw in a redesign to make them feel even better about their website. The logotype was a given element though.
There are still things to take care of behind the scene, mainly some inline css hacks, some awful css that got off on the wrong foot, and XHTML notes in the code so I beg all of you to disregard the code aspects at the moment. The deadline forced me to publish it with these flaws (I'm not mainly a coder these days). Besides, lack of time also forced me to reuse some of the old code. I don't like it, but you have to meet several kinds of demands in a real life project. Hopefully I'll can make time for the needed changes. Riai, however, are nevertheless far better off in all aspects with their new website.

Logotype for swedish greentech company Energy Area
This is an "almost done" case, but ready enough to display here anyway. I will extend the presentation here when it´s completely done, which also means when the website is published. One thing I really like about this is the greentech profile of course. The left one is the primary logo on a background plate. To the right is the secondary logo, is really nice when it's given a lot of whitespace and integrity.

Contribe Research & Technology / Recruitment
A common site for two separate, but closely related business areas; Contribe Research & Technology and Contribe Recruitment, had to quickly replace an older site for Contribe. Mission: to upgrade the current site graphically, write XHTML / CSS (mainly by Patrik Riske). It´s a pure XHTML version that is supposed to get into WordPress later on. Visit Contribe.se

Offshoredagen - Brochure and website
Offshoredagen is an event by ResourcePoint about offshoring and outsourcing issues, focusing on Swedish and Indian relations. I designed the brochure, that was transformed into the website offshoredagen.se where I also did XHTML and CSS.

ResourcePoint - Logotype Optimization
RP deals a lot with offshoring issues. The first on the agenda was to enhance their logotype. The old globe was turned into a well designed, more detailed and at the same time less "busy" verision. Carfully chosen gradients that also will make it interesting and worth looking at when printing it in bigger formats.Note that the gradients are not exactly the same in the negative version as in the "standard" version. That goes for the greyscale version as well. Each version is optimized for their specific properties and surroundings.

Anywhen - The Opiates (revised)
David Sylvian (former front figure of the band Japan) caught interest of our latest album the Opiates. Sylvian says:
“The dark, brooding, romantic nature of the material [...] and the emotional gravity of Thomas' voice [...] I couldn't help but be drawn into its widescreen, colour-drained, soundscapes."
Now it's time for the resulting work of the revised version to hit the market. . I also keep an Anywhen discography page at untitled.se.

New website for Telogic.dk
Telogic is a danish telecom company with rather complicated specialized services. I suggest you dig in through the content (about MNO and MVNO for example) on their website. My part was to give them a much fresher
look. At the same time they much needed to change their cms, which was full of strange limitations. The new cms (Joomla) was delivered by Xolution. We also
had a nice working relation regarding the Joomla template with Chris Rault at JoomlaJunkie Hi, Chris! :-)

I agree: The current css-bashing of the design of my site hasn't been that rewarding.
So I have to give you someting, don't I? Well, have a real good sneak peak here to see
the work in progress. Also, I'm probably turning to the swedish language.
That´s the thing of SEO stupidity you can do with your own sites. PageRank
down the drain I suppose. But I'm not worried. I will build my (search engine and people)
trust in so many ways, it will make you tremble. :-)

MediaGraphic.se
MediaGraphic is the hyper client focused printing solution company, that never says no to a customer. This is unique, and it's more common that a client gets a "no we can't do that type of work" from a printing firm, if the job doesn't immediately fits their production means. This means that mediagraphic isn't just a printing firm. They have a vast network of providers that they use to match their clients needs. They seek full responsibility for a companys printing needs, and thus making it better, simpler and often more economical.
My job was to help them get through with all this on their website. They wanted a much more graphical website than before, so a series of top images were used to meet this wish. The images are a bit playful, aiming to communicate that they can present insipiring solutions to their clients. They have a soft spot for imaginative retouched images and the image sixfinger fits in well.
I may get back (when/if time allows me to) for a more indepth presentation, because there is a lot to this producion!

Bekväm.se
I received the brief for bekvam.se monday morning, (june 4th) and the site was up and running today (june 8th). The company
Bekväm provides household (and related) services to both companies and individuals, in the so called Trestad area in the west of Sweden. Preexisiting elements was logotype and most colors. This is step one for the site, and we´ll see about how
it will develop. As a "quick launch" I think we did well. Design was a collaboration between me and Patrik Riske.
I like to cooperate and think it´s a much more rewarding process.

Sixfinger retouch
Images are strong! I pitched for the use of an eyecatcher during the design of Mediagraphic new website (Not quite ready to go online though, but really soon now) and they
liked the idea. To make an anatomically believable six fingered hand, a surgical retouch approach was needed.

Inspired by - or stolen by?
Note: Krusell has since then redesigned their website. I'll keep the (partly rewritten) post below for archive purposes only.
Tonight, I ran across two similar looking websites. The first site is Krusell, a manufacturer of "carrying equipment for portable electronics", and the second one is the swedish museum of world culture (Gothenburg). Without further investigation, I´m almost more than 100% certain that the museum site was first. This is no copy-paste, but I instantly thought of the museum site when I saw krusell.se.

Note: This site isn't updated as of now. The concept is abandoned. It was a time with too many internet ideas flying around in my head. Well they still do, but I don't act on every whim any more. If I find a good edge for the site, I may get back to it.

SEO abuse hits untitled.se
A couple of days ago I noticed some new links pointing at my pages, url untitled.se. Have a look at this abusive blackhat SEO page where someone misleadingly states me (untitled.se) as beeing the creator of that page . It makes me so mad and I gladly receives good tips on how to fight back. I tried who.is to check who was behind the page,but I got no answer due to "too many requests". More sites abused by them perhaps? I've reported the site for abuse at Google, so let's hope that works well.

SEO - Search Engine Optimization on untitled.se
I wanted to emphasize the advent of a new section on the site: Search Engine Optimization. The main reason is not that I've developed into a full-blown professional on the subject. No, it's more due to the connection it has to web standards and good copy. I've listed some really good (and less good) search results for armini.se and bildlösningar.se on the SEO page. These results comes mainly from caring about web standards, and the insight that sites are for people - not search engines. The knowledge I now posess have lead me to the conclusion that almost any kind of SEO is a form of manipulation of the SERP (search engine results page) - and should be avoided, in favour for natural linkbuilding and having a focus on good content. This is what Google is looking for, and will rapidly be getting better at detecting unnaturally developed sites with, for example, unnatural link patterns. My achievements rely upon on-page SEO with few, or no inbound links at all.
And yes - the thumbnail image to this post is a small hommage to the very nice logo of the gothenburg based seo firm named... seo. ;-)

I´ve always loved this field of work - but, until now, never made a serious attempt to monetize it. Bildlösningar.se (or bildlosningar.se) offers creative image solutions, photo retouche, 3D-images or combined techniques for specific image needs. The name/brand is presented through Armini Solutions AB.

The shape of things to come
As we all occasionally do, I was searching the internet for my own name, and this time I found an image of mine in an article about the evolution of the "design movement" organic design. Frank Lloyd Wright is seen as the father of this movement (in the area of residential design). The article appears at the software company Graphisoft website and a duplicate is to be found at AECBytes.

NCA Group AB
NCA Group AB (Nordic Cleaning Alliance) is a large full service company, with emphasis on cleaning indoor enviroments. The design was created in harmony with their existing design manual. Launched in June, but produced earlier this year at EWS International. CMS System programming, XHTML and CSS by Andreas Norman and EWS International.

The NCA website has been nicely redesigned by impera in Örebro. I wish to thank NCA for having my design up since 2005 until now, and I wish them all the best with their new site.

Profitel website design
Profitel work in several ways with the quality of other companies telephone policys. This design was not intended to solve the companys every communication need (which simply wasn't possible in the very short production time given), but was rather aimed to be a substantial facelift, giving people interested in their upcoming event "IP-telefonidagen" a more reliable and fresh impression.
