This is my entry for the high-profile book Expose II, 2004.
(Ballistic Publishing) which is a collection of the worlds best digital art. This year they got 4300 entries, compared to about 1400 the previous year, which also was the first time around for Exposé.
Deepest has actually been around for some years now, and during 2003 I started a serious remake in high resolution.

Pretty much the same topic. Most of the texture comes from the original acrylic painting. Colors are changed and the light beam is photoshop.
